Notes from a Hillside Farm; being Musings and Observations on Life, Letters, and our Most Holy Faith, by a Lawyer, Sheep- farmer, and Communicant of the Orthodox Church
Reminds me of Flannery O'Connor's voice of the peacock . . . I'm envious! I did a paper on her in Jim Thompson's intellectual history class--a good friend of mine suggested the final sentence, something to the tune of: "she was a brilliant and original but in the end, she was not too smart for her own God"
