Lambs in the Snow
With temperatures near 80 it is hard to imagine that just a month ago we were all but snowed in. The lambs are bigger now and enjoying the green pastures.
We used to raise purebred Hampshires, but have given that up so our flock at present is an eclectic mix of whatever seems to thrive on our scruffy hillside pasture. My wife is particularly fond of black, spotted and mixed color sheep, so those lambs tend to get kept when the boring white ones go off to sale.
